British artist, Lizzy Forrester (AKA Deborah McNeill) was born in Liverpool, NW of England, has lived all her adult life in Spain.
Surrounded by a great appreciation of art from an early age, her father is an excellent artist (painting in oils) hours spent wandering around the Walker Art Gallery in Liverpool are of her fondest memories as a child. After a spiritual retreat in the summer of 2006, Lizzy Forrester started to dedicate nearly all her time to her great passion, painting:
The artist is now busy with commissions and preparing for various promotional Gallery Exhibitions scheduled for this year.
It is not unusual for Lizzy to feel or experience the creation of her Artwork as explosive: the paintings are full of life energy.

Statement
"My intention is to reveal on canvas the serene beauty and energy inherent in all things. Spirit provides an inexhaustible supply of infinitely variable forms.
My "Spiritual paintings" are a thin slice of time and space as I experience it, explored through spiritual energy released. These paintings are created whilst listening to classical music. In these works I allow colour, scale, ideas - energy to settle gradually as the painting developes almost independently. The less interference from me, the happier I am with the result usually. I just let the energy flow, I let go.
Hopefully my work speaks to the heart, to you - the observer, in subtle communication: It is the "Energy" I perceive whilst standing almost spellbound infront of so many magnificent paintings, of great masters. It's as if certain paintings have life of their own.
If upon looking at one of my paintings somone senses some kind of energy that attracts them and holds their gaze, then the underlying joy and excitement I experienced whilst working on it has reached out and been shared.
May the energy reach out and touch your soul through the eyes."
Thank you for visiting my site.
DONTATIONS - 50% FROM ALL PRINT SALES, WILL GO TOWARDS SPONS
I am very excited about starting to save for the drilling of a second well (water well) in Africa, this time it will be sponsored in the name of Lizzy Forrester and the funds for this will come from sales of Prints!!!
The Busoga Trust is the charity's name which has earned my trust and admiration. I was so touched to see that a first donation made last year, has actually become a reality! It makes such a difference when you can see that something you gave in the hope it would help others much less fortunate than yourself, really does reach them and make a difference.
....... judge for yourselves - have a good look at the photos!
I will be uploading, as soon as I can, the paintings I have started preparing, inspired by these photographs. 50% from the sales of these paintings will also go towards this worthy cause, towards a second well.
Many thanks to those who helped me - to a particular friend in Ibiza, who wishes not to be named;
Frances David - who works for the trust and follows everything up, keeps you updated as to where the money is, and how far things have got, and was so very kind to send these photographs with the wonderful informative letter.
Thanks also to all those involved in the Busoga Trust, in the UK, in Uganda, the villagers in Bugema Lukiyamo: special thanks to the Well Caretaker for his valuable work, and the Well Committee for their responsible and appreciated work and for their wonderful letter of thanks.
I hope that they will get to know and maybe get to see the paintings (will get on with them asap.... up to you Frances?) and I am sure they'll be happy to know, a second donation with a bit of luck, will soon be on the way.

For a few months at the begining of the year, I attended an art course at a local private art school, in order to gain some badly needed confidence in the new experience of painting in oils with a palette knife. All of the work to the present day, indeed all the paintings shown on my Gallery website(s) are watercolours, or acrylic or the two mixed.
Now I have 2 on my site painted in Oils and I am very happy with them.
Having now experienced my first Solo exhibition, my time is now spent largely honing my "style" and experimenting - I am about to start an Abstract Series. "impressionist" reflections of whatever contect there might be.
A Selection of the "Mediterranean Paintings" are now on show and for sale in Galería Baldo's, Plaça Des Mercat, 8 Palma De Mallorca
